On September 4, CIIT held a meeting for 2025 international students’ parent representatives. Jiang Zhengyan, Member of the CIIT Party Committee and Vice President, attended and addressed the meeting. Also present were Fei Jianming (Dean of the SOE), Zhou Juan (Vice Dean of the SOE), counselors, as well as 7 newly-enrolled international students (from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries) and their parent representatives.
At the meeting, Jiang Zhengyan extended warm welcome and sincere greetings to the parents and new students who traveled from afar. He noted that the arrival of these international students has brought new international vitality to CIIT and demonstrated parents’ trust in the institution. CIIT will remain committed to its international exchange philosophy of Openness, Inclusiveness and Mutual Learning, leveraging high-quality educational resources, advanced practical training facilities and a sound service system to provide all-round support for students’ academic pursuit, cultural experience and daily life. He encouraged the students to cherish their study time in Changzhou, integrate into campus and urban life, master professional skills, learn about Chinese culture, and grow into high-caliber technical talents with an international vision.
Fei Jianming introduced the School’s educational philosophy, student management and service measures, and responded to parents’ concerns about academic development and living support. The discussion was conducted in a lively atmosphere, with in-depth exchanges on language learning, cultural integration and psychological care—further enhancing understanding and trust between CIIT and the parents.
After the meeting, the students and their parents visited CIIT’s Li Auto Training Base and Baidu Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation & Demonstration Base. They gained first-hand insight into CIIT’s achievements in industry-education integration, school-enterprise cooperation and intelligent manufacturing, and developed a clearer understanding of the features of Chinese vocational education and the industrial strengths of Changzhou.
This meeting not only deepened parents’ knowledge of CIIT’s school-running characteristics and service guarantees, but also laid a solid foundation for the international students to integrate into campus life smoothly. CIIT will continue to advance educational internationalization and strive to cultivate high-quality technical talents with an international perspective.
