CIIT Participates in EducationPlus2024 Wuxi International Summit & Exhibition for Applied Education and TVET

From September 12 to 14, the EducationPlus2024 Wuxi International Summit & Exhibition for Applied Education and TVET took place at the Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center. The event attracted over 200 colleges and universities, government departments, and industrial enterprises from both domestic and international backgrounds. CIIT was honored to be an invited participant, with Vice President Yao Qingwen leading the delegation.

During the eventCIIT showcased the significant achievements made since the launch of the “Hug Teaching Mode Reform” program in 2016. Through exhibition boards, physical displays, and interactive sessions, CIIT highlighted the progress, drawing considerable attention from numerous domestic and foreign institutions, industrial enterprises, and news media who stopped by for observation, exchange, and discussions.

Additionally, “Joining Hands to Educate Talents and Making New Chapters - Exploring the Innovative Talent Cultivation Mode of ‘Russian Language + Software’ at CIIT” was successfully selected as one of the “2024 ‘Going Global’” projects. The initiative, titled “The ‘Going to the World’ Chinese Vocational Education Program - Achievements of Vocational Education Cooperation in Building the ‘One Belt, One Road,’” was recognized as an excellent case. As a result, CIIT was honored as a model for foreign exchange and cooperation in vocational education in 2024.

Organized by the Chinese Vocational Education Society, the Wuxi Municipal People's Government, the German Education Industry Association,didacta, and the Germany Stuttgart Exhibition Group, and managed by Nanjing Stuttgart United Exhibition Co., the conference focused on education, science, and technology, with talent development as the main theme. The event was divided into several segments, including the opening ceremony, exhibitions, and seminars, aimed at deepening the integration of vocational education and industry. It also sought to facilitate the growth of skilled personnel and explore replicable and scalable models of international cooperation in vocational education, creating a brand for international exchanges and cooperation in this field.
