The WIC Nishan Dialogue on Digital Civilization was held in Nishan, Qufu, East China’s Shandong province, an important cultural and historical site in China and the birthplace of the Chinese educator and philosopher Confucius, from June 25 to 27, 2023.
With the theme of "The Age of AI: Building a Digital World of Exchanges, Mutual Learning and Inclusiveness", the dialogue focused on such topics as "Building a Secure and Trusted AI", "AI Empowering Industries", and "Where Human Civilizations Go in the AI Era", to discuss how to lead the development of the digital world in the future with the help of AI technology.
The Nishan Dialogue was hosted by the WIC, organized by the People's Government of Shandong Province, and co-organized by the Cyberspace Administration of Shandong Province and the Jining Municipal People's Government. About 400 Tech heavyweights, scholars or government officials from over 10 countries and regions attended the dialogue.
The opening ceremony presented a cultural feast for Chinese and foreign guests and tourists.
