She added that this event would provide a platform for teachers to exchange and learn, and young teachers should seize the opportunity to hone their skills, strengthen communication with their peers, striving to achieve high degree of professional proficiency.
A total of 120 young teachers participated in the assessment, ranging from novices to veterans. They demonstrated the basic skills of oral and body language, handwriting, class management, courseware creation, skill demonstrations, etc, and benefited greatly from each other's observation and the judges' on-site comments.
The display and exchange of basic skills has further stimulated the internal motivation of young teachers' professional growth and promoted their professional development. In the next step, the college is to pay more attention to the training and guidance of young teachers with the aim of building a higher level and higher quality teaching staff.
