Three Chinese astronauts aboard the Shenzhou-15 manned spaceship returned to Motherland safe and sound on Sunday, after completing their six-month space station mission.
Shenzhou-15's return capsule, carrying astronauts Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming and Zhang Lu, hit the Dongfeng landing site gently in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region at 6:33am (Beijing Time). At around 7 o'clock, the heroes were helped out of the spacecraft, beaming and full of energy. "We have completed all the scheduled tasks and felt good after returning to our motherland," said Fei, the mission commander.
It was on November 29, 2022 that China launched the manned spaceship Shenzhou-15, whose crew successfully completed four extravehicular activities, and witnessed the completion of the country's space station construction.
