On the morning of March 17th, Sheng Lei, Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee and Mayor of Changzhou conducted investigation at Changzhou Vocational Institute of Industry Technology (CIIT), accompanied by Zhou Chengtao, Secretary-general of Changzhou Municipal Government, Wan Limei, Vice Chairman of CPPCC and Director of Education Bureau of Changzhou, and other officials. Xi Haitao,Secretary of CPC Committee of CIIT, and Yang Jingsong, Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee and president of CIIT met with the visitors.
At the New Energy Equipment Intelligent Manufacturing and Service Engineering Center of the college, Sheng Lei inspected the training base jointly built by the school and the enterprise, encouraging the school to further strengthen cooperation between the school and the enterprise, and jointly carry out vocational education and job skills training through order training, and modern apprenticeship system, in order to cultivate more high-quality technical and skilled talents urgently needed for the development of the new energy industry in society and better serve the economic and social development of Changzhou.
During the meeting, Xi Haitao reported on the positioning of college running, talent cultivation, and integration of industry and education. Currently, the college is targeting the new energy and other pillar industries in Changzhou, by means of restructuring the intelligent manufacturing and service major cluster that serves the new energy industry chain, and adjusting the frame of secondary colleges, only to promote close integration of major layout with the new energy industry.
