On the afternoon of November 23, the cooperation and docking meeting between Changzhou Taiwan funded enterprises and our university, Changzhou Institute of Information Technology for Industry, University and Research and human resources was held in Changzhou Science and Education City. The docking meeting was jointly held by our university and Changzhou Institute of Information Technology. Xu Dong, Deputy Director of Changzhou Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office, Xu Kejia, Deputy Director of Economic Liaison Office of Changzhou Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office, Wu Xinming, Third level Chief Staff Member of Science and Technology Innovation Office of Science and Education City, Yan Shixiu, Deputy Director of Science and Technology Park Management Center of Changzhou National University, Chen Gang, Vice President of Changzhou Institute of Information Technology, Yao Qingwen, Vice President of Changzhou Vocational Institute of Industry Technology, and representatives of 15 enterprises in Changzhou with cooperation needs attended the meeting.
Chen Gang and Yao Qingwen respectively delivered speeches on behalf of the two schools. They introduced the history of the two schools, the teaching staff, the professional settings, and the integration of production and education. They hoped that this docking meeting would be the beginning, and through further in-depth and precise docking, they would give full play to the technical advantages of college talents and enterprises, actively promote the joint development of schools and enterprises to carry out project application, research and development of achievements and other industrial, academic and research cooperation, and constantly improve the strength of enterprises in Taiwan and Changzhou, better serve local economic development.
Xu Dong introduced the development profile and industrial distribution of Taiwan funded enterprises in Changzhou, analyzed the characteristics and needs of Taiwan funded enterprises in Changzhou, and proposed that schools and enterprises can promote the integration of industry, education and research, create high-level characteristic industrial clusters, and jointly promote the high-quality development of Changzhou by jointly building research and development centers, jointly applying for horizontal topics, and holding cross-strait scientific and cultural exchanges seminars.
Dou Kai, Deputy Director of the Employment Department of Changzhou Institute of Information Technology, and Fei Jianming, Director of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Department of our school, respectively introduced the achievements of the two schools in scientific research, social services and talent training, and said that they would continue to optimize the discipline structure, improve scientific research and innovation capabilities, give full play to the advantages of the school's disciplines and talents, and better serve the high-quality development of Changzhou's industry.
Representatives of Changzhou Taiwan funded enterprises introduced their profiles and released their respective industry university research cooperation and talent recruitment needs. Daqian Machine Tool (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., Changzhou Busui Technology Co., Ltd. and our school, Changzhou Chengxin Semiconductor Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Shimin Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. and Changzhou Institute of Information Technology signed cooperation agreements on production, teaching and research.
Taiwan funded enterprises and universities will carry out in-depth cooperation in industry university research cooperation and personnel training. With the strong support of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Changzhou Municipal People's Government, this meeting aims to strengthen the cooperation between Taiwan funded enterprises and universities in Changzhou, provide technology and human resources support for the development of Taiwan funded enterprises, effectively improve the innovation and integration development level of Changzhou Taiwan funded enterprises, and serve Changzhou's 532 development strategy.
After the meeting, the participating Taiwan funded enterprises and the relevant responsible persons of the secondary college of our university conducted in-depth discussion, exchange and docking on further implementing the industry university research cooperation project.
The meeting was hosted by Tu Yanqun, Deputy Director of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office of our school. Nearly 80 people from relevant functional departments of the two universities, heads of secondary colleges and representatives of teachers and students attended the meeting.
