In order to instil Chinese aerospace spirit and the patriotic feelings into its teachers and students, CIIT arranged for them to watch the live broadcast of the launch of Shenzhou-14 crewed spacecraft to witness this great historical occasion.

A Long March-2F carrier rocket carrying the Shenzhou-14 crewed spacecraft blasted off at 10:44 a.m. Beijing Time on June 5 from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China, sending three astronauts to its space station combination for a six-month mission. About 10 minutes later, the spaceship separated from the rocket and entered its designated orbit, with the crew members in good condition. The China Manned Space Engineering Office (CMSEO) declared the launch a complete success.

The trio will cooperate with the ground team to complete the assembly and construction of the Tiangong space station, consisting of a core module Tianhe and two lab modules Wentian and Mengtian. The Tianhe core module was launched in April 2021, and the Wentian lab module is set to be launched in July and Mengtian in October.

While watching the live broadcast, everyone was confident and proud. They held their breath and stared at the big screen. When the Shenzhou-14 manned spacecraft succeeded in entering the scheduled orbit, the conference room burst into warm applause.

Seeing is believing. After watching the live broadcast, everyone couldn't help admiring the aerospace spirit of being able to bear hardships, fight, tackle key problems and make contributions shown by the aerospace workers, and took greater pride in the unprecedented achievements made in the aerospace industry of the motherland.
