On April 9, the 2025 National Maternal and Infant Cross-border E-commerce Supply Chain and Channel Alliance Conference and the Eighth Conference on the Innovative Development of Pregnancy, Infant and Child Industry (Jiangsu), Working Annual Meeting of the 2025 National Maternal and Infant Industry-education Collaboration Community, hosted by Mommy Baby Products Association of Jiangsu and CIIT, was held in Xuanwu District, Nanjing.
Ding Hai, president of Mommy Baby Products Association of Jiangsu, vice president and party committee member of Jiangsu SOHO Holdings Group, made an opening speech for the conference. Reviewing the past, Mommy Baby Products Association of Jiangsu, with the support of all parties, moved forward steadily, achieving remarkable results. Looking ahead, along with the promotion of the “Belt and Road” initiative and the docking of the development strategy of the Central Asian countries, the demand for maternal and infant products in the five Central Asian countries is surging, deeply attracting Chinese maternal and infant enterprises. With the support of projects such as the “Jiangsu Central Asia Center,” “Xinjiang Khorgos”, “Central Asia Jiangsu Center” in Astana, and the “Overseas Warehouse” in Almaty, Soho Holdings Group is gradually helping Chinese maternal and infant enterprises promote their high-quality products to Central Asia.
Zhang Zhichao, deputy secretary of Xuanwu District Party Committee and mayor of Xuanwu District, delivered a speech for the conference. He said that Xuanwu District is the core city of Nanjing, known for its beautiful mountains, water, and forest landscapes, abundant scientific and educational resources, and developed, convenient transportation. Hosting this conference in Xuanwu represents both an opportunity and the intertwining of dreams. The Jiangsu Central Asia Center, jointly built by Xuanwu District Government and Soho Holdings Group, will be established in Kazakhstan this year. It will serve as an important bridge for economic and trade exchanges between Jiangsu, the Yangtze River Delta region, and Central Asia, echoing the Central Asia Jiangsu Center. Xuanwu is also actively promoting the construction of the Jiangsu Africa Center to continue broadening markets along the “Belt and Road.”
XI Haitao, Secretary of the Party Committee of CIIT, made a speech titled “Building an Ecology of Partner Links.” From the four dimensions of technology empowerment, education empowerment, industrial change, and AI support, he elaborated on the significant achievements of the National Maternal and Infant Industry-education Collaboration Community and Jiangsu Maternal and Infant Industry College in talent cultivation, resource construction, teachers' practice, students' internship base construction, advanced technology standards, innovation center construction, and results transformation. XI Haitao pointed out that the development of the industry cannot be separated from the cultivation of talents. The school will join hands with Mommy Baby Products Association of Jiangsu, Jiangsu Suhao Holdings Group, and other like-minded enterprises, using the National Maternal and Infant Industry-education Collaboration Community as a carrier, focusing on the pregnancy and infant child industry, to build the consumption of a new scene of the link ecology and strive to cultivate more practical talents for the industry's development.
The General Assembly awarded CIIT the Cross-border E-commerce Talent Training Base for the Maternal and Infant Industry, Cross-border Cooperation Alliance Unit of Industry Associations, and Jiangsu Central Asia (Maternal and Infant) Service Alliance Unit.
