On January 15th, President Yang Jingsong attended the 8th Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Award ceremony held in Beijing, during which Changzhou Vocational Institute of Industry Technology was granted Outstanding School Award.
The award was originated by the China Vocational Education Society in 2007. It is the only national award in the field of vocational education that has ever been specially reviewed and approved by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, meaning the highest honor in such a field. As for the 8th Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Award, a total of 50 awards for outstanding schools had been selected after a step-by-step process of review, recommendation, public announcement, and objection handling.
