From January 3 to 4, 2024, the contest item "New Power System Technology and Application" of the Jiangsu Vocational College Skills Competition was held at Jiangsu College of Engineering and Technology. Under the guidance of Li Yongjie and Han Yinghui, the latter of whom is a famous gold medal coach, from the School of Intelligent Control of Changzhou Vocational Institute of Industry Technology, three contestants, Xu Ganghua, Fu Helong, and Yang Tianyao, won first prize and second place, heralding a bumper harvest of CIIT’s preparation for the new round of skills competitions.
The new event is closely aligned with China's energy development strategy, with the concept of integrating all factors concerning the talent supply and the industry demand, based on the core technical skills of typical job groups in the field of new power system, and embodying real tasks seen in the productive process of enterprises. There were a total of 17 teams and 51 contestants from Jiangsu vocational colleges competing in this competition.
