On December 20th, the closing and award ceremony of the 17th CIIT Reading Festival was held. Yao Qingwen, a member of the CIIT Committee of the CPC and Vice President of CIIT, delivered a speech. 20 classes, 5 teachers, and 90 students were commended.
In April of this year, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education launched the "Reading Classic - Jiangsu College Student Reading Action Plan ". To respond to the call, CIIT has carried out a series of reading activities for over half a year since then.
Yao Qingwen believed that the Reading Festival is related to the construction of campus culture. He appreciated the "Smart Theme Reading Room" under construction, which will integrate revolutionary resource services, professional demand services, research and discussion services, and intelligent reading services. He also encouraged the library to form a high-quality cultural activity brand by clinging to the college's concept of cultural education and rendering services of unique features and highlights.
Ji Hua, head of Publicity Department of the CIIT Committee of the CPC also attended the closing ceremony. Li Fei, Deputy Director of the Library, made a concluding speech.
