From November 22 to November 29, the 18th CIIT Sports Festival and Men's Freshman Basketball Tournament were held at the Basketball Court in the college's stadium. President Yang Jinsong presented the awards to the winning teams.
Yang Jinsong fully affirmed the spirit of unity, cooperation, tenacity, and courage all the players displayed. He emphasized that basketball, as the most widely popular sport in the college, combines morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor organically, playing a good role in educating people. He also pointed out that the basketball game is a positive practice for the college to fully implement the Party's educational policy, undertake the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents, and deeply integrate ideological and political education with physical education, which is bound to promote the comprehensive development of students in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor.
This basketball game adopted a round robin format, with 7 secondary colleges forming teams to participate in the competition. After nearly a week of intense competition, the School of Intelligent Control finally won the championship of this competition.
During the break of the competition, cheerleading teams from various secondary colleges brought breathtaking performances. The entire audience was impressed by the original dances featuring major characteristics and boasting beautiful movements and vibrant energy.
