On June 30, CIIT Network Radio and Television Station was brought into being as expected. Zhang Zheng, deputy secretary of Changzhou Daily Committee of the Communist Party of China, editor-in-chief of Changzhou Daily and Changzhou Evening News, Wei Xiying, director of Changzhou Radio and Television Media Convergence News Center, and Guo Guozhong, secretary-general of the Vocational Education Science and Education Integration Community and former deputy director of the Jiangsu Reporter Station of Science and Technology Daily, were invited to attend the inauguration ceremony.
Mao Bomin, deputy secretary of the CIIT Committee of the Communist Party of China, read the official paper of the founding of the campus network radio and television station. Xi Haitao, secretary of the CIIT Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Ji Hua, director of the Publicity Department of the CIIT Committee of the Communist Party of China, jointly unveiled the inscribed board of the CIIT Network Radio and Television Station. Xi Haitao also issued letters of appointment to Zhang Zheng, Wei Xiying and Guo Guozhong as consultants.
Zhang Zheng delivered a congratulatory speech on behalf of the guests. He fully affirmed the achievements made by the college in publicizing, ideological, and cultural work. He believed that the establishment of the Network Radio and Television Station is of great significance to the development and influence of the college, and will also provide students with more practical opportunities and display platforms. He was sure that it would produce high-quality programs for teachers and students.
Xi Haitao pointed out, as an important channel to convey the spirit and stories of CIIT to all walks of life, it is of great significance to enhance the popularity, reputation and influence of the college. Xi Haitao hopes that it will be run well, so as to become a disseminator of campus information, a builder of campus culture, a service provider of campus life, and a common spiritual homeland for teaching staff and students of the college.
Today the CIIT Media Convergence Center set up in 2020 boasts its own unprecedented Network Television Station, which showcases that CIIT’s mass media has entered a new stage.
