Recently, the Changzhou Municipal Bureau of Education announced the list of "2023 Industrial College Formally Recognized or Preparatory Construction Projects", one of which is "Intelligent Manufacturing Industry College of Key Parts of Engineering Machinery" project jointly declared by Changzhou Vocational Institute of Industry Technology (CIIT), Jiangsu Hengli Hydraulic Co., Ltd. and Changzhou Hengli Pneumatic Technology Co., Ltd..
We must adhere to the fundamental task of nurturing virtue and cultivating people, bear in mind the positioning of talent training, and continuously deepen the integration of industry and education and the supply-side structural reform of talent training, said Xi Haitao, who is secretary of the CIIT Committee of the Communist Party of China,
Xi Haitao stressed that relevant functional departments should actively contact the schools which the project belongs to, and that the construction of the connotation of the industrial college must be strengthened to ensure that each and every one is a success, to truly benefit students, teachers, and enterprises.
He hopes that the approved industrial college will assist the construction of a model city for the high-quality development of vocational education in the Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou metropolitan area and a national pilot city for the integration of industry and education.
